Hi, my name’s Maeh!

In case you are wondering, my name is pronounced like the month, May (I always say the “H” is just there to confuse you lol). Where did my mom get my name from? My first name is actually Jeremaeh. It’s from the bible name Jeremiah, which means “Jehovah Exalts”.

I’m a LEGAL drug dealer by trade (meaning a pharmacy technician!! ya know, I give people drugs/medicine and they give me money. But please don’t shut me down or report me to the DEA!!) ~ I am working hard to be a full time photographer one day!

A few fun facts about me as stated in my homepage:

  • I love dogs so if you have one, please bring them to the session!! I may or may not kidnap them though depending on how easy it is to bring them home

  • I’m a couch potato who enjoys travelling

  • I’m short and I have braces and get mistaken for a teenager sometimes but I am actually old

My photo journey

I started my photography business officially in 2019 but I have had it as a hobby since 2011.

I started taking blackmail photos on my very first iPhone. I invested in my very first DSLR and started taking photos of little things (called macro photography).

I honed my craft and started taking photos of friends and teaching myself how to make others feel more comfortable in front of the camera and now I am in love with my shooting & posing style. I would say it is more candid but I never forget to take traditional, posed photos as well.

I have decided I was going to specialize in couples photography and am today taking photos of engagements, weddings and families. I’m your very own third wheel (or get demoted to fourth, fifth wheel as your fam grows lol)!! I do also take graduations and maternity, etc.

It is such a privilege to be chosen to capture people’s happiest moments. My goal is that the pictures I take spark the same feelings and emotions you had on that special day (cheesy, I know lol but I do smile or laugh or get teary eyed myself when I edit photos - and that is when I know I am doing my job right) ^^
